Happy 2026! As we move into the new year, one huge subject that continues to dominate conversations in the world of academia and beyond is Artificial Intelligence.

In a recent article for Forbes, Bernard Marr (2025) stressed that:

“Understanding how to work with AI tools safely and effectively will be essential for both students and those heading into the world of professional work in 2026”.

Marr (2025) continues to suggest that employers will assign importance to AI-related learning both in terms of proficiency as well as “awareness of the dangers and ethical questions it raises”.
